We stopped after going to Silver Lake. It was a little snowy and cold so we went for a hot chocolate. Then we ended up ordering soup, chili, salad, and dessert. The food was good not amazing but would go back for sure next time I'm up there. Prices are as expected for being up the canyon. Service was great. It was a cozy and rustic atmosphere.
Friendly staff and good seating. There is outdoor seating as well.
Restaurant here is Very beautiful upscale place. Great ambience and great location.
We've been here for lunch 4 or 5 times, and have always loved it. This was our first dinner experience, and I must strongly encourage you to try this wonderful restaurant. You've got to sit on the back deck and overlook the amazing mountain canyon and color changes. With this backdrop, and great menu of food options, you can't be dissapointed. The Ribs we're the bomb. Other great options we've tried and loved have been the burger, meatloaf and great salads.
The Thanksgiving dinner was a huge disappointment. Everything was from a can and had absolutely no homemade taste. The stuffing was bread crumbs with carrots in it. I will gladly share a recipe for stuffing with a little something in it. The carrots would have been nice with a glaze on it. And homemade rolls would have been nice from a restaurant. You need to hire some true cooks to show you what a true Thanksgiving dinner tastes like.
Relatively an expensive place.
Very less parking spots. You may have to park on the shoulders or side of roads if the restaurant is full.
Very little vegetarian option and no vegan food.
We went for brunch and the food was outstanding. I have only one complaint, being that the Bloody Mary's were expensive, more than I would have liked to spend, but I ordered and could drink it at the bar while waiting for a table (big plus, especially in Utah). That part aside, the food was some of the better brunch I've had in this state. The bacon was cooked to that perfect point in between too soft and too crispy, and what I expected to be plain diner-style hash browns, we're actually really flavorful and delicious! Portions are big, I'd rather get a half order and save $2-4, since half of everything we received was thrown away. Everything our table ordered was really, really delicious. Tag on an excellent view and some crisp, high altitude air, we'll be heading back to this brunch location often. We waited about 25+ minutes on a Sunday. It's a ways away from downtown SLC, but the drive up Big Cottonwood Canyon (enhanced when driven by motorcycle) is beautiful.
I don't even want to give you one Star.
